Our Program
Early Childhood
In a Montessori classroom, the early childhood curriculum (Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten) is meticulously crafted to foster optimal learning experiences for young learners. Grounded in the belief that children flourish when engaged in hands-on, real-life activities, the primary curriculum emphasizes independence, sensory engagement, and open-ended exploration. Through these experiences, children refine their movements, sharpen their senses, and nurture the development of language and intellect.

Central to the Montessori approach is the principle of child-directed learning. Children are encouraged to pursue their own interests and select activities that resonate with them, empowering them to take ownership of their education. Within this framework, guided exploration plays a pivotal role in cultivating independence, concentration, and curiosity.

The curriculum is designed with the understanding that children learn best through real-life activities that support independence, concrete experiences that engage the senses, and open-ended exploration. This leads to the refinement of their movements, sensory perceptions, language, and intellect development. Children thrive through opportunities to follow their own interests and freely choose their own scaffolded activities. Through guided exploration they develop independence, concentration, and curiosity.

Montessori materials for the Early Childhood age are designed to support self-directed discovery and learning. They are organized around:
-
Practical life activities that develop both independence and concentration
-
Sensorial activities that refine and develop the child’s senses
-
The development of spoken language, writing and reading skills
-
Mathematical activities that develop fundamental mathematical concepts
-
Cultural activities that include geography, history, biology, science, music, and the arts.
